OneTheMagazine and In the Garden Publishing have produced their second book of awakening stories from the contributors to ONE!
"As the mind imagined a thousand deaths, I simply slipped out the side door and left mind to its dreaming."
— Dorothy Hunt, this issue's featured poet, from Only This.
“ONE the Magazine continues to develop as a stunning vehicle celebrating the many ways the spirit and expression of nonduality show up.”
There is the possibility in every human life when for an instant the illusion of existing as a separate entity simply vanishes. A veil is lifted and somehow, miraculously, all of life is experienced as one seamless unified reality, and you recognize without a doubt that the truth of who you are is this one reality. Never again can you truly deny that not only are you intimately connected with every human heart and with all of life, at the core you are the fabric of life itself.
— Shanti Einolander, founder/editor of ONE
by Prajna Ginty
Prajna Ginty has a unique story of awakening in the midst of circumstances that would bring anyone to their knees. In this essay she shares pieces from her life that led to profound realization of truth while raising her three daughters, two of which are twins born with traumatic brain injuries. Prajna’s full story can be found in her recently published book, Edge of Grace, from which this article was extracted with permission. ONE highly recommends this read!
by Clare Blanchflower
Clare Blanchflower's presence blesses the shores of Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. In this issue she shares her story of awakening to the absolute truth of Being, or as she so eloquently describes here: "a jaw dropping, immobilizing, transfixed stillness and disappearance beyond into Nothing, the Totality, before creation, before happening, the unmanifest before the impulse to become. Absolute perfect stillness."
by Zubin Mathai
Zubin Mathai is a lover of self-inquiry and an observer of the One Self as reflected through nature. These writings beautifully share some of his observations while hiking the mountains near his home in Ojai, California.
by Avram Sacks
Avram Sacks woke one day to find himself faced with the sudden onslaught of a autoimmune syndrome that involved great physical pain. The good health and ease of mobility he had enjoyed all his life had suddenly vanished. Avram had long ago recognized the peace beyond understanding, but how would that realization meet up with a very human experience of great vulnerability and pain? His story of finding Silence in the midst of difficult circumstances is a helpful pointer to us all . . .
The effort to grant basic rights to animals moves forward as Sandra, in captivity in zoos since she was born in 1986, is granted the rights to "personhood" in Argentina. To date, New Zealand has granted these same rights to apes, India to dolphins, and Ecuador and Bolivia have enacted constitutional laws that grant these rights to ALL of nature. The challenge continues with a focused attempt to add cetaceans to the list worldwide. Read here to learn more and enjoy the orangutan videos!

When we share our experience of awakening, when we speak about what it is to live an ordinary human life consciously aware of our essence as One Being, it transmits the possibility of that same grace opening within the heart of another.
